P0011 is cam timing out of spec with vanos off, probably the trigger wheel is over advanced on bank 1. When you initially timed your engine the trigger wheel (s) had to be less than +/- 10% from their perfect mechanical position. You were probably just barely within that spec.I have a E39 6 Speed 540i sedan. It startssometimes. I think there might be a bad spot/s on solenoid/starter not sure. When I turn the key there is a click like when a low voltage applied but the battery is fine. If I move the car while in gear or jostle the car then it starts.
