On my own car it did seem to eliminate the slight "pinking" (pre ignition) that I sometimes experienced even with 99 ron fuel. The diesel filter is located on the fuel system of your Ford Mondeo. It is located just before the injection system. In other words, it is located right next to the engine block. You can identify it by its cylindrical shape. The fuel pump and sender unit consists of a fuel sender, a fuel filter and a high pressure fuel pump with pressure regulator. stripe88. 2863 posts · Joined 2008. #8 · Nov 21, 2013. if you have the filter off you should be able to see the return pipe, fuel returns into the regulator on the pump. if the regulator is stuck open fuel will just return to the pump with little pressure on the rail. to test it just blow through ityou should not be able to.

The optimum temperature required for particle combustion is 600°C. Active regeneration normally occurs around every 450 miles, but it does depend on how the vehicle is driven.
